Tips for Attending In-Person Conferences/Events
Are you an introvert who DREADS in-person events? I HAD to enlist the help of André Morys to distill down tips/tricks on attending in-person networking events / digital marketing conferences
I wanted to get feedback from someone who RUNS conferences to figure out what tips and tricks we can utilize to get the most out of in-person events, ESPECIALLY coming from two people who are actually pretty introverted (if you can believe it...)
We got into:
- Tips for introverts to "get out of your own head" at conferences / in-person events
- Feeling imposter syndrome at conferences (and how to break the nasty mental hold it has on you)
- Being curious about everyone and everything is probably the BIGGEST tip you can take away
Featured Clip from Episode: Feeling Imposter Syndrome at Networking Events / Conferences
This one was a bit more personal for me, but I’ve 100% felt “imposter syndrome” at in-person events. Being surrounded by AMAZINGLY smart people saying amazingly smart things can feel intimidating. But, as hard as it is to just say “don’t feel that way yo”, you should try the tips in the video to keep on participating in these valuable conversations!
Latest Skit
So many times, we hear “We love CRO and A/B testing,” but when push comes to shove, seemingly there are no resources, no places to test….

Thing on my mind
Shameless plug, I know. But I’m selling merch to recoup some tooling costs. I have no sponsors. I take 0$ in advertising / referrals. I have no editors, no income for this podcast, and it’s all free for y’all to get access to content. So this is my only way of recouping SOME cost back (even if I sell all my merch at 2X the cost, I am still pretty deep in the red lol)
Shirts will be 25$ (20$ was cost of shirt, 5$ I will put towards tooling costs) + shipping (usually ~5$ in the US, but if you’re international it may be closer to 20$ (USD). Plus I am sneaking some extra goodies in for free lol
DM me if you want one, they’re selling out like hotcakes (I have one more medium, and a few larges / XLs left!)
(If you’re international, I can maybe figure out some creative ways to cut on costs 🙂 )
